The wonderful part about running a business is that you get to run it how you like. Just, how you like. And that is what we like.

For us, this means that we get to include how we feel about certain things and weave them into the way we carry out our business. That is a big honour, also a commitment and it generates a great amount of excitement about what we can do at Take Note. (On top of all that, it sure makes a happy place to be spending our time).

Through employing us as your transcription agency you will therefore become part of the following belief system that we at Take Note consider to be of great importance:

Many of our home workers are truly grateful that we are able to offer the ability to work from home. This gives, to mention a few; mothers, family home carers, others starting up their own ventures / careers (and we have all been there!) the means to still be earning an income to support them. In some cases this could translate to people not having to rely upon benefits. Where we can help, we want to keep the British workforce alive, 'keep it local' is what we all call it these days. That goes for our shopping habits too so why not make it yours when shopping for transcription!

Ah yes, of course it matters and of course it is important to us. Why else would we have chosen the colour of all colours to represent us and that we represent. Yes, it’s a two way thing. We like what green means. So be responsible and take action. Let’s start with the 3 R’s, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Reduce: Our carbon footprint year on year, this includes seeking ways to reduce our energy consumption, our waste, our / your courier bills. (We are working towards a digital future with you to write off those unnecessary motorbike trips across the capital).

Reuse: We start with all our postage materials, all re-used and re-used again. From you to us and back to you again. Ok, we are looking into smart new boxes for you all but for the moment and until then, this is what we do. It makes sense.

Recycle: Of course we recycle. If you don’t by now, well you know what we think. We run a virtually paperless office with all our work being transmitted by email and internet. It’s pretty staggering when thinking of the hours of audio transcription we get through. That is just one of the neat little things about our company. Our stationary is all printed on FSC paper and printed using vegetable dye inks. Green is the magic number.

Of course as a new company, we need to prove our worth but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Emails are as efficient as phone calls; you can expect a response from us within moments. Just so you know we are open on Saturday’s, our team works over the Bank Holiday weekends and we don’t include any extra hidden charges / higher rates to ruin your budgets or your holidays. Rest assured there is no need to panic if you realise on Sunday you have not booked a notetaker for Monday!
